The story behind WSP’s eLearning project
The WSP L&D team faced the daunting task of quickly upgrading their bilingual training modules for 65,000 employees. Upon reviewing their existing eLearning, WSP sought to address three critical items, which included:
- Revising the course components to meet minimum WCAG accessibility standards,
- Updating the courses to align with the new WSP branding and visual guidelines and;
- Improving the eLearning content to be more engaging and interactive.
WSP understood that their internal team needed support to accomplish these goals, so they contacted Neovation, who accepted the project’s challenges head-on.
Neovation’s in-house team of instructional designers and graphic designers became an extension of the WSP team. They worked hand in hand with the WSP team to identify areas for improvement in eLearning using interactivity, implement necessary accessibility standards, and manage course translations of bilingual English and French content while staying within scope and budget.
